The El Paso Bar Association was established in 1897 and is a voluntary bar association, open to all attorneys licensed to practice in Texas and in the United States. The Bar Year runs from July 1st to June 30th. For membership information see membership. The elected Board of Directors governs the association and meets on the first Tuesday of the month from September to June. The Bar Office is located at 500 E. San Antonio, Room 1204.

The name of this association shall be the El Paso Bar Association. It is organized for the advancement of justice and the science of jurisprudence, the advancement of the professional interests of persons licensed to practice law, the preservation of high standards of integrity, honor and courtesy in the legal profession, the improvement of relations among the judiciary, legal profession and the community.
